Affordable utility service is fundamental to a healthy and safe home. The Energy Unit fights for programs and resources to keep utility bills affordable. If you are having trouble affording your utility bills, we can determine your rights and whether there may be programs and services to help you. We can also determine if the utility has made a mistake with your bill or hasn’t given you the right information to keep your bills affordable.

If you are struggling to keep up with unaffordable utility bills, there may be programs or services to help you. Talk to the utility about your options and if you are not satisfied, call CLS. Before you call or visit CLS, please gather your utility bills and any recent notices you have received from your utility and we can assess whether you have other legal options.
