Advocates in the Energy Unit can advise you regarding your rights to grants and assistance that may be available through the LIHEAP program. We can help you determine how to make the best use of LIHEAP grants to restore and maintain utility service throughout the winter. We may be able to assist you if your LIHEAP grant is delayed or denied.

About LIHEAP
Every winter Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP) provides grants to assist with home heating costs. LIHEAP grants can be applied to either a PECO or PGW account. In some cases, you may be eligible for a LIHEAP grant even if you are not a customer of PECO or PGW. You may also be able to use LIHEAP to repair your broken heating system. Please review the resources below for more information about LIHEAP.
