Paralegal
Jess Humphries (she/her) is a paralegal in the CLS Housing Unit. She is part of the Lawyer of the Day program, which provides on-the-spot representation to low-income tenants facing eviction in Municipal Court. Prior to joining CLS, Jess managed the rent assistance and homelessness prevention program at HopePHL in West Philadelphia. She is passionate about housing and economic justice and brings with her nearly a decade of experience working with Philadelphians in deep poverty.
Jess received a B.S. in Biology from Boston College and a Master’s in Social Work from Temple University.
