Taylor emerged from the womb of a social worker, and often feels he emerged from the womb AS a social worker; it just took a while to fully realize his destiny. After a motley career path, which has included stints as a bouncer, a government employee both at federal and state levels, and a tax professional, he came to Community Legal Services as a Licensed Social Worker in 2019. He possesses considerable technical knowledge of public assistance benefits, stemming from his 9 years as an Income Maintenance Caseworker and IMCW Supervisor with the Pennsylvania Department of Human Services.
In May 2018, Taylor received his Master’s in Social Service from Bryn Mawr’s Graduate School of Social Work and Social Research, his mother’s alma mater. He received his Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology and American Government & Jurisprudence (a double major) from Dartmouth College in 2004.
