Supervising Attorney
Dominique Wiggins (she/her) is a Supervising Attorney in the Housing Unit at Community Legal Services, providing same day legal representation to indigent tenants facing eviction through the Lawyer of the Day (LOTD) Program. Outside of court, she is committed to community outreach and advocating for eviction record sealing for all Pennsylvania residents.
Dominique began her career at CLS, as a Martin Luther King Jr. Fellow, through the Philadelphia Legal Aid Network, in August of 2021. The fellowship is a 2-year commitment aimed at supporting diverse new attorneys interested in pursuing long term public interest careers.
As a lifelong advocate for community service, Dominique has served as a Big Sister, through Big Brother, Big Sister of New Jersey; as a tutor for the Petey Greene Program, a program aimed at providing educational assistance to incarcerated individuals; and, as a personal mentor to many young women in her hometown of Trenton, New Jersey.
Dominique graduated from the Thomas R. Kline School of Law of Duquesne University (formerly known as Duquesne University School of Law) in May of 2021. During her time in law school, Dominique was a member and President of the Black Law Student Association (BLSA) and a member and Vice President of the Woman’s Law Association (WLA). She also participated in the Public Interest Law Association (PILA), served as a school ambassador, and served at several clinics aimed at supporting indigent communities in the surrounding Pittsburgh area. Dominique also received her BA in Spanish and Psychology from Rider University in 2015.
