Staff Attorney
Ian Charlton is an Attorney in the Homeownership and Consumer Rights unit at Community Legal Services. Ian was previously an Attorney, Attorney Fellow and a legal intern in the Landlord-Tenant Unit at Community Legal Services, the Consumer Housing Unit at Philadelphia Legal Assistance, and the Consumer Bankruptcy Assistance Project.
Ian received the Public Interest Section of the Philadelphia Bar Association’s Law Student Award in 2016 as well as the Philadelphia Trial Lawyers Association’s James J. Manderino Award for Outstanding Trial Advocacy upon graduating from law school.
Ian received his J.D. cum laude from the University of Pennsylvania in 2017. He received his BA from Drexel University in 2012.
