Michael J. Carroll is a senior attorney in the Community Legal Services Housing Unit. He has worked in legal services programs in West Virginia, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania. Mr. Carroll also worked as an Assistant Public Defender in New Jersey before coming to Community Legal services.
Mr. Carroll is active in the Philadelphia Bar Association and has served as chair of the Executive Committee of its Public Interest Section, Section Representative to the Board of Governors, member of the Executive Committee of the Real Property Section, member of the Delivery of Legal Services Committee, and chair of the International Human Rights Committee. At present, Mr. Carroll is a member of the Executive committee of the Public Interest Section and the Editorial Board of The Philadelphia Lawyer, the Association’s quarterly magazine.
