Divisional Supervising Attorney
Holly Beck is a Divisional Supervising Attorney in the housing unit at Community Legal Services, where she focuses on providing advice and representation to tenants facing eviction and other forms of housing instability. She also leads the housing unit’s work on the inequitable impacts of eviction records and tenant screening practices.
Before joining CLS, Holly represented low-income parents involved in New York City’s child welfare system, first as an attorney at Bronx Defenders, and then as a supervising attorney at Neighborhood Defender Service of Harlem. Holly also served as legislative counsel at the New York City Council, where she drafted legislation and advised elected officials.
Holly received her J.D. from NYU Law and her B.A. with honors from McGill University.
