Supervising Attorney
Alex Dutton is a Supervising Attorney in the Family Advocacy Unit at Community Legal Services. Alex defends parents who are at risk of losing their children to foster care due to allegations of abuse or neglect and to preserve their parental rights when the state seeks to forever sever them. Before joining CLS, Alex was an Independence Foundation Public Interest Law Fellow and Staff Attorney at the Education Law Center of Pennsylvania. He received his J.D. from the James E. Beasley School of Law at Temple University in 2015, where he also earned an MSW. He received his B.A. from the University of Michigan in 2010.
