There are two ways to make a stock gift to CLS. Below we have listed the pertinent information you will need to make a transfer. To gift mutual fund shares, please contact the Development Unit.
Electronic Transfer

- Stock must be transferred to the specific name: Community Legal Services, Inc.
- Our tax identification number is 23-1671562
Certificate Transfer
- The person to whom the shares are registered should sign the back of the certificate and authorize that the shares are to be deposited to the Community Legal Services, Inc. account #097-072231.
- The certificate should be sent by registered mail to:
