Immigrant workers have same legal rights as all workers in the United States, with a few exceptions. But immigrant workers are particularly vulnerable to exploitation by employers.
We help all workers, including immigrant workers, in a variety of ways:
- We regularly represent immigrant workers in wage theft cases in Philadelphia Municipal Court.
- We also represent immigrant workers who have been harassed or discriminated against on the job. This includes being treated differently because of where you were born or the language you speak.
Although we do not handle workers compensation cases, we can direct clients to attorneys who do.
