Seth Lyons is a Berkeley Law Public Interest Fellow and Staff Attorney in the Employment Unit. His project focuses on combatting wage theft and reducing criminal-record-based barriers to employment for members of Kensington’s Latino community. Mr. Lyons works onsite at Congreso de Latinos Unidos each week and collaborates with other organizations in the area to provide outreach and know-your-rights trainings. He previously worked for three years as a paralegal in the Pennsylvania Farmworker Project of Philadelphia Legal Assistance.
Mr. Lyons was a John B. Hall Public Interest Scholar.
Mr. Lyons received his J.D. from U.C., Berkeley, School of Law in 2016. He earned his B.A. from Cornell University in 2009, where he studied History, Latin American Studies, and Spanish.
