Steve Lee is Deputy General Counsel, Government Investigations, at Comcast Corporation. He is responsible for overseeing federal, state, and local government investigations and handling inquiries from federal agencies, including the Department of Justice, the Securities and Exchange Commission, the Federal Communications Commission, and the Federal Trade Commission, along with state attorneys general and public utility commissions.
Prior to this position, Steve served as the gubernatorially nominated and state senate confirmed Director of Consumer Affairs for the State of New Jersey. In that position, Steve oversaw a state law enforcement and regulatory agency made up of approximately 600 employees, that included the Office of Consumer Protection, the New Jersey Bureau of Securities, the New Jersey Prescription Monitoring Program, the Office of Weights and Measures, and 47 professional boards and committees, which regulate more than 80 professions and occupations. Prior to that, Steve served as an Assistant United States Attorney at the United States Attorney’s Office in the Southern District of New York.
