Domestic Violence

Domestic Violence

What we can do:

CLS does not represent clients in protection from abuse cases, however, we can help survivors with other legal problems as part of our intake process. CLS represents survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault in need of assistance with private or public housing issues, such as emergency transfers or breaking a lease agreement. We also represent survivors who need legal advice and representation on employment issues.  If you are a survivor of domestic violence or sexual assault and have a legal problem, click here and select your issue to find out when you should visit our office.

We also have a hotline available for survivors of sexual assault and rape who are seeking legal assistance for issues of family law (custody, child support, protection orders), employment, immigration, housing, or who need counseling.  Survivors can call (215) 981-3844 to be connected with an agency that can provide help or legal advice on these issues.
