Kee Tobar is a social security benefits attorney in the Youth Justice Project at Community Legal Services, with a focus on social security advocacy and providing legal services to transition-aged youth. She began her time at CLS as a Stoneleigh Foundation Emerging Leader Fellow with a project focusing on increasing access to civil legal services for youth who are experiencing housing instability, as a means of preventing and reducing homelessness. Ms. Tobar was previously a Zubrow Fellow at Juvenile Law Center in Philadelphia, PA.
Ms. Tobar was a Public Interest Law Scholar at Georgetown University Law Center. Kee was also a Georgetown Law Dean’s Award recipient. Before entering law school Kee Tobar was a student athlete at Alabama A&M University where she was awarded the Southwestern Athletic Conference Women’s Basketball Player of the Year award in 2012.
Ms. Tobar received her J.D. from Georgetown University Law Center in 2015. She received her BA from Alabama A&M University in 2012.
