Deborah L. Freedman, Esq.
Deborah Freedman currently serves as the Deputy Director of Legal Practice at Community Legal Services. Ms. Freedman has held several positions at CLS, including Interim Executive Director, Director of Advocacy and Training, Managing Attorney of Law Center North Central, and Managing Attorney of CLS' Family Advocacy Unit. Prior to positions in management, Ms. Freedman was a staff attorney and supervising attorney in the public benefits unit. Ms. Freedman has been a lawyer at CLS since 1992.
Ms. Freedman currently serves on the Board of the Hebrew Immigrant Aid Society and Council Migration Services of Philadelphia, as well as on the Board of the Community Justice Project.
Ms. Freedman’s undergraduate degree is from the University of Michigan and she is a graduate of Yale Law School.
